American Review Preparation Factory Chevy Cars in Indonesia

Purple Cottage -United States automobile manufacturers, Chevrolet is ready to build a car assembly plant in Indonesia. The representative of the United States has made a Chevrolet to come review the location of the factory in Pondok Ungu, Bekasi.

General Motors International Operations (GMIO) Vice President of Manufacturing John Buttermore and the team members group GMIO perform a two-day visit to Indonesia to monitor factories, General Motors (GM) Indonesia in Pondok Ungu, Bekasi, Wednesday (24/8). In the same month, sales of Chevrolet in Indonesia recorded growth of 29 percent YoY, while overall industry sales fell 13 percent.

"We will continue our momentum by focusing on the reopening of the manufacturing facilities in Sweden," said GM President Director Marcos Indonesia Purty.

Manufacturing facility with an area of 11 hectares will be producing up to 40,000 units of vehicles per year and be able to create over 800 new jobs.
